Abstract

This research paper addresses the policies and strategies related to green logistics in Mexico, focusing on government efforts to encourage companies to adopt more sustainable practices within their operations.

In a comparative approach, the case of Germany is analyzed, as it has positioned itself as a leader in green logistics thanks to a solid regulatory framework, advanced transportation infrastructure, and a consistent emphasis on innovation and the development of renewable energies.

The findings suggest that although Mexico has implemented environmental programs and regulations, significant limitations remain, such as the lack of modern infrastructure, resistance to change in certain sectors, and still insufficient investment in environmentally friendly technologies. Overcoming these challenges will strengthen the effectiveness of current policies and facilitate the transition toward sustainable logistics models.
