Abstract

This text presents a special issue of the Scientific Journal of Accounting and Administration of the UASLP (Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí), dedicated to promoting epistemic dialogues between commerce, accounting, and administration from an inter- and transdisciplinary perspective. It arises from the academic collaboration between the UASLP and the UAEH (Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo), and presents a critical stance toward traditional divisions of knowledge, highlighting the need for systemic approaches to understand a complex and changing reality.

The issue brings together research that integrates topics such as international trade, organizational innovation, public policy, ethics, sustainability, and geopolitical tensions, supported by diverse and innovative methodologies, including data science and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, it emphasizes the pedagogical value of the research process by involving students alongside established researchers, strengthening the development of new talent and the generational renewal of Mexican science.

Finally, the text underlines the social commitment of public universities, the importance of academic collaboration and the generation of relevant, critical and open access knowledge, with the aim of impacting social well-being and facing contemporary challenges from a rigorous and humane science.
