Abstract
The objective of this investigation is to determine if IMSS retirees and pensioners adapted to the new mechanisms to acquire their payment voucher. The new technologies in the different government bodies in Mexico, is something that cannot be postponed, with the guidelines of the national plans and the dynamics of the current world, the Mexican Social Security Institute is not far behind in adhering to the legal provisions and technological mechanisms. The background shows that the change was not expected for users, and that in turn this would represent complications for personnel who are not associated with the use of new technologies. After describing the current situation in which retirees and pensioners find themselves, regarding the world and the results of the survey, it is shown that, although retirees find themselves in a world in which technological means are more within reach hand in hand Even so, there was resistance to change on the part of users to this new procedure modality. Even with the data shown, pensioners and retirees, half of the population, continued to attend the labor retirement office, which shows that retirees are adapting to the new platforms. The limitations of the investigation would be to know the real reason of the people who did not receive their digital card, as well as knowing what means prevent them from obtaining it, especially people over 70 years of age.
